Rhapsody Rotorua
This recent tour was a wonderful experience for all students involved. Students are still talking in an excited manner of the many new friends they made from other schools and the opportunities the festival gave them to play and sing with many of these students culminating in concerts for both individual schools and combined groups.
In addition to the music, much fun was had on the touring scene. This included a very informative and funny ‘sheep show’; climbing down into the actual volcano that destroyed Rotorua in the 19th century and standing in the very spot where it all started (very well explained by guide ‘Charlie’); soaking in the hot thermal pool and the snow.
