This house is named after Mr Walter Adams (1830-1892).
He donated to the Catholic Church, for educational
purposes, the land on which the College is built..
He is buried in the Catholic cemetery, which
adjoins the property.

Hogan House - red
This house is named after Brother W Joseph Hogan
who was the first Principal of the Christian
Brothers College in Bundaberg 1919 – 1921. |

McAuley House - green
This house is named after Sister Catherine McAuley
who founded the Sisters of Mercy, the teaching
order that conducted Loyola College, the girls’ secondary
college, for most of its history. |

Rice House - yellow
This house is named after Brother Edmund Rice
who founded the Christian Brothers, the teaching
order that conducted the Christian Brothers’ College,
for all of its history. |
