Orientation will begin at 8.30am. Please have your child come to the Performing Arts Precinct. Our Senior School Coordinator and Middle School Coordinator will be delivering the session for the students, followed by an IT boot camp. This will include the set-up for online learning for Year 11 and 12 students.

All students will receive an order envelope from their House Coordinator/PC Teacher once at school on Monday 7 February.
IMPORTANT: The order envelopes are printed uniquely for each student and need to be presented to the photographer on Tuesday, even if not ordering photos, this is a form of identifying each student. Order and payment instructions to students and parents can be found on the envelopes, you will be able to order photos online after school photo day. The school photos will also be used for the 2022 Student IDs.
All students are to wear the formal uniform on school photo day, this includes the school tie for boys!
If you would like a photo of siblings together (that are currently enrolled at Shalom) you may order a ‘Family photo’. These order envelopes can be collected from our Front Office or Student Reception prior to photo day. Siblings are to present to the photographers before school on Tuesday (from 8am) or during lunch.
Students absent, will have a second opportunity on the ‘Catch up’ photo day on February 16.
Late payments (if not paying online) can be handed in to the College office by Tuesday February 15, these orders will be collected directly by Academy School Photography the next day.

New Parents for 2022 will receive their login details from Shalom IT in the new year.
Thank you to those families who have already completed this form at the end of 2021. It is essential that this form be completed for our Finance Department as soon as possible to both confirm your student’s place at Shalom College in 2022, to advise your method of payment and to ensure that you will receive discounts you are entitled to should you have more than one child at a Catholic School or College in the Diocese of Rockhampton.

Please note the dates and times for collection of textbooks for 2022. These textbooks may be collected from Book Hire in the Goondeel Library during these periods. Years 7, 8 and 12 (for 2022) do not need to collect resources prior to school commencing.

For those waiting to collect their new Sports Uniform Shirt from the Uniform Shop, you are welcome to pick these up as per the collection times below. At this stage, the new Sports Uniform shirts are for Year 7 students and those who have moved into our two new Houses, Damien and McCormack.
Reminder: New Boys Formal Socks (grey with Shalom embroidered) are compulsory. These socks are available from the Uniform Shop.

Year 10 Notebook Leasing Program - Students can now start collecting their notebooks from DA3 (Previously MT3). Please allow around 15-20 minutes for this to happen as we will need all students to login and setup their email prior to leaving the College.

If your child wishes to sign on to play Inter-school Summer Sport for Shalom College for Term 1 2022 please fill out your details below. The Summer Sport competition runs every Wednesday after school 3:30pm to 5:00pm approximately (for 6 weeks - TBC). No cost involved, only Ten Pin Bowling has a cost. Parents have the responsibility to transport their own child to & from the venues. Starting date will be Wednesday Feb 23. Summer Sports include: Touch Football, Volleyball, Surfing, Table Tennis & Ten Pin. This Form to be completed by Monday 7 February 2022.
Please note, your child will need to be logged in to their Shalom College account in order to view the form.
Shalom College is offering students the opportunity to participate in organised after school activities conducted by coaches and teachers. SCASA also includes a light afternoon tea from 3.15 pm for the students and all activities will conclude at 4.45 pm. SCASA commences in Week 4 of Term 1 and continues for 6 continuous weeks of Term 1 (due to delayed start of Term 1, 2022).
