BUNDABERG EISTEDDFOD: Shalom had 21 ensembles compete across choirs, bands, string ensembles, orchestra, rock bands and small groups in the Bundaberg Eisteddfod. The results are as follows:
First Place: Shalom Rock Band, Symphony Orchestra, Rochford Strings, Chamber Strings, College Choir, Treble Makers, Intermediate Jazz Band, Brass Ensemble, The Slick Six String Ensemble.
Second Place: Intermediate Concert Band, Senior Concert Band, Senior Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble.
Third Place: Bass Cadets, The Shalom College Saxophone Quartet, The Shalom College Small Percussion Ensemble 1.
Participation: The Cherry Reds, The Shalom Flute Troupe competed, The Shalom College Small Percussion Ensemble 2, The Shalom College Flute Quartet.
