SHALOM DAY: Yesterday we celebrated Shalom Day, the day that we set aside on our calendar to celebrate and strengthen our school culture. This year was extra special as we marked our 40th birthday.
Celebrations during the day included a prayer assembly on the theme ‘Garden of Life’, acknowledgment of staff who have worked at the college for 10 years, a talent show and a House Dance Competition. We welcomed our Grandparents for part of the day and treated them to a lovely morning tea. Another highlight was the past staff and students, who recorded messages to the current students, wishing them a happy Shalom Day. Student participation on the day was exceptional and special mention goes to Hogan House for winning the House Dance this year.
A big thank you to everyone involved – students, grandparents, and staff, for being part of such an exciting day for all.
